Bowmanville Zoo Demo and Protest

This is straight from the facebook page details:

Protest and demo planned for June 18th, at the Bowmanville Zoo.
Time: 12:45 pm

-We will be asking for petition signatures to ban the use of exotic animals for entertainment purposes in Ontario.

-We kindly ask no profanity on any signage, absolutely no megaphones, no parking on zoo grounds or mall parking lots, absolutely no trespassing on zoo property. If not followed, we kindly will ask you to leave.
*NOTE* We have had many issues in the past regarding the above, especially the profanity (both on signage and verbal), and the megaphones. The DRP have told us megaphones are not allowed.

-There will be a plethora of signs to use. Both handmade and printed ones.

-There is parking across from the zoo (protest area) in a feild. Please no parking at the Shoppers mall, you will get ticketed.

-The demo will require 2-3 volunteers. More info will be posted closer to the date.

We are hoping to get 50+ people out!!
June 29th will be the back up date *
