Bullfighting Cruelty – Toronto Activists Protest

Join us from noon to 2pm outside the Spanish Embassy in Toronto, to protest this cruel and outdated spectacle. Bullfighting’s dirty secrets include mutilation and various methods to weaken the bull even before entering the ring. Once there, the poor animal is subjected to prolonged and agonizing torture before finally being killed. This and other forms of ‘entertainment’ such as running of the bulls must be called out and recognized for what it is – a disgusting form of animal abuse hiding behind the label of tradition.
