Pig Trial Courthouse Vigil
Please join us in support of the right of pigs to be treated as individuals, not property! Toronto Pig Save‘s Anita Krajnc trial continues on October 3rd, and will continue in November for two additional trial dates. Anita was charged with criminal mischief and interference with property in connection with an incident on June 22nd, 2015, at a vigil in Burlington (see video link below). Come to be the voice for the millions of pigs, cows, chickens and other farmed animals that needlessly suffer and are killed each day!
Schedule:
9:00 – 10:00 am: Rally outside the courthouse at the Ontario Court of Justice: 2051 Plains Rd E, Burlington, ON L7R 5A5
10 am – 5 pm: Trial
8 am – 5 pm: slaughterhouse vigil
* We will be holding a concurrent satellite vigil for the pigs during the #pigtrial at 821 Appleby Line, by Harvester Road, outside of Fearman’s Pork Inc. slaughterhouse from 8am – 5pm. We will be live-streaming from both locations and appreciate your presence. Please, if you can, attend both or either locations.
