Join Toronto Actions for Animals: Third Swiss Chalet Demo
THIRD DEMO AS PART OF TORONTO ACTIONS FOR ANIMALS
Join Mercy For Animals for an exciting month of demos concerning Swiss Chalet! Swiss Chalet has not publicly adopted an adequate chicken welfare policy that prevents the worst forms of cruelty in its supply chain.
Over 16,000 people have called on Swiss Chalet to announce important animal welfare changes. Swiss Chalet’s competitors, including Tim Hortons, Burger King, Starbucks, Boston Pizza, and Earls, have made public commitments to chicken welfare standards that meet the requirements of Global Animal Partnership and are also endorsed by animal welfare experts. So why hasn’t Swiss Chalet?
Let’s make our voices heard and call on Swiss Chalet to adopt an adequate public policy that prevents the worst forms of cruelty in its supply chain! MFA will host ONE PEACEFUL DEMO EACH WEEK in August at the most popular Swiss Chalet restaurants in Toronto. These demos will lead up to our FINAL EVENT at the Toronto Stock Exchange, where Swiss Chalet’s parent company Cara Operations is publicly traded. See below for all the information on each event.
We need people to hold professionally printed posters (no need to bring your own) during this silent but powerful protest. Please arrive 15 minutes before each event.
