DxE Toronto September Day of Action – Roaring Silence

September 16, 2017 @ 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm

DxE Toronto Monthly Day of Action – #RoaringSilence

We will be doing the #RoaringSilence event design at 3 locations (10-15 minutes per location) near Trinity Square (map – https://goo.gl/maps/Z48NvpjJwc82 )

What is #RoaringSilence? Originally an event hosted by 269 in Israel https://www.facebook.com/garytvcom/videos/1088767511178496/ , this event design was done earlier this summer in Vancouver and also at Harbourfront in Toronto. Check out the Vancouver video on the web page they created http://www.roaringsilence.ca/

Event – Single file, we will walk from our meet-up location to our first location holding #RoaringSilence signage. We will take up our position where we will stand in silence for 10-15 minutes. We will then proceed to a second location and then a third. We will be walking in a SLOW PACE – (think funeral walk) – at arm’s length distance to the person in front.

Meet-up location – Trinity Square is the small park with the Labyrinth and the Church of the Holy Trinity just outside the West entrance of the Eaton Centre. (map – https://goo.gl/maps/Z48NvpjJwc82 )

Dress code – Black or red tops (plain; or black Roaring Silence or Anonymous for the Voiceless; or red DxE or March to Close All Slaughterhouses)

Note – There is a private FB event page for a special disruption this same day at 6pm. Link will not work unless you were invited –https://www.facebook.com/events/1876171295966803/
Email DxEToronto@gmail.com for details if not already invited.
