Fur Free Friday – Toronto 2017

November 24, 2017 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Toronto is proud to join Worldwide Fur Free Friday, 2017 – one of the largest global days of action against the disgusting fur trade. We’ll be outside the Queen Street Entrance of the Eaton Centre.

This is your chance to add your voice! The goal is to inform the public on the true face of the cruel fur trade and about the millions of innocent fur bearing animals, who live in torment on fur farms, going mad in filthy tiny wire cages and exposed to the elements or trapped in anguish until they die alone or are brutally killed and at times even skinned alive.

We’ll be asking anyone who passes us and is wearing fur trim or any fur, to please, #ZipOffTheCruelty. This is a non-violent event, where signs and leaflets are provided, though home made signs are also welcomed, as well as partnerships with all other organizations fighting the fur trade. This 2017 event is organized by Lina Asatoori and Jenny McQueen.
