We will be chatting with Izzy Jacobus via Skype about this monthly 24-hour fast and the enigmatic circle/X mark meant to symbolically draw attention to the plight of millions of farm animals sent to slaughter each and every DAY.

Daniel Suss, one of the masterminds behind Kupfert & Kim and Toronto’s Hello 123, will be on hand to talk about these two plant-based favourites and how their tasty fare (according to the rave reviews I’ve heard!) is awesome for animals, humans, and our planet. And I understand he’s bringing along some treats, so he will no doubt quickly become the studio favourite!

Renia Pruchnicki will be delivering truth bombs and discussing Truth Belts when she joins us to talk about the cool company that she’s been running since 2001 and how fashion can be both stylish and ethical.

Okay, let’s be reasonable! Looking forward to shooting the breeze with the compassionate Marty Menard and Glenn Whitehead, Two Reasonable Vegans, driving in from new-vegan-hotbed London, Ontario, home to their clever podcast…Two Reasonable Vegans (I sense a pattern developing here).

The animal rights movement has finally achieved some…movement. Vegans/AR activists are no longer just on the fringes…we’re everywhere and from every walk of life. Calling All Vegans aims to curate a wide variety of such guests. The show is an opportunity to get to know one another better, network, inspire each other, smash stereotypes…and have a few laughs in the process! It’s a place where veg businesses and other vegan-ly undertakings both big and small can be celebrated and supported, where viewers can be informed of where to spend their dollars ethically, and where we can discuss “the V(egan) word” in a relaxed, pleasant — but unapologetic — environment.
