This Monday, we warmly welcome Dan and Sheanne Moskaluk (aka Indian Rock Vegans — find them on Facebook and Instagram!), who were featured in the documentary, “Eating You Alive”, debuting this month! In 2013, Dan was diagnosed with stage IV kidney cancer, giving him a 5% survival rate and just months to live. Within a year of eating a plant-based diet, the local cancer clinic closed his file and he remains cancer-free to this day. As well, Sheanne lost 133 lbs thanks to adopting a whole food plant-based lifestyle.
Toronto animal rights activist, Mary-Chris Staples, will be joining us to speak about Chalktivism, ditching dairy, and a host of other easy and effective ways we can all get animal-active.
Michelle Spring will be in the studio to talk about her innovative new snack, Klusters, a kale/trail mix and extra-delicious way to get your greens in! Please visit her clever and creative website at klusters.ca.
And rounding things out will be Diane Devenyi, a recovering lawyer, yoga teacher, and educator inspiring people to realize their dreams and change the world. Vegans, take heed!
During last week’s show, no one went hungry, as Michael and Toni Abramson, the founders of Yamchops, were in the house with their mouthwatering delights! We were then captivated by Camille Labchuk of Animal Justice and co-host of the “Paw & Order” podcast, Jo-Anne McArthur of We Animals and The Unbound Project, and Kevin Lahey, a former undercover investigator with Mercy For Animals and a co-host of “The Livegan Podcast”.
