All day pig, chicken and cow vigil with DxE friends from Maryland

This special vigil with DxE folks from Virginia begins at Fearman’s Pork Inc. slaughterhouse in Burlington on Monday, April 11 from 7-9 am and then continues 10 am to noon at Maple Leaf Poultry chicken slaughterhouse at 100 Ethel Avenue. A vegan lunch will be provided, catered by the wonderful RaRa’s in Runnymede Park (west of the slaughterhouse) weather permitting. A cow save vigil will follow 2-3 pm at St. Helen’s Meat Packers and Ryding Regency Meat Packers at 1 and 7 Glen Scarlett Road.
