Blessing of the Animals Outreach – CANCELLED

Lets help the visitors of Blessing of the Animals event organized by Glebe Road United Church make the connection between their beloved pets and animals used for food. We are planning an educational outreach where people will be welcomed to learn about the practices of animal agriculture and its environmental impact, the social behaviours of “farmed” animals, health implications of non-vegan diet, and how they personally can make compassionate choices and help all animals. The church representatives were respectful to us and the questions we raised in the Facebook discussion. We highly appreciate this approach and hope to continue our discussion in the same manner.
