KW Animal Save…
☆Does regular vigils at our local slaughterhouse where 30,000 baby pigs are killed every week, and outreach with signs and pamphlets. They do this
monthly in the winter, and weekly in the summer.
☆They organize protests at circuses and rodeos.
☆They raise awareness through posts online, letters to the editor, and articles.
☆They distribute vegan food samples and pamphlets at various events, and sometimes outside the market or downtown.
☆They show virtual reality clips of the animal agriculture industry at universities and at other events.

Kitchener-Waterloo Climate Save …
☆They show films about animal agriculture and its environmental impact at universities, and in the community.
☆They table at eco fairs to raise awareness about the climate and environmental impact of animal agriculture.

They also support Save groups in other cities, and other animal rights groups in Kitchener-Waterloo and area, by attending their events whenever possible. Members are also involved in the larger Save Community that now has over 300 groups across the world. Some KWAS members have been working on an animal rights film page to assist people in other cities and provinces and countries to screen these films; and on a new group called Mother Earth Save, whose intention is to educate and engage mothers in the climate crisis.
