Clarington Family Outdoor Adventure Park Closing Weekend Demo

A peaceful demonstration to demonstrate our opposition to Clarington Family Outdoor Adventure Park (previously Bowmanville Zoo)’s reopening and continued exploitation of animals in hopes this closing weekend will be their last!

Our goal will be to educate potential patrons about this facility’s history and why using animals for entertainment is cruel and outdated. In addition it is our aim to provide alternative activities for the families who turn away, making this a positive day for all involved.

As of now there are plans for an information centre, vegan baked goods, and an arts and crafts table and we are welcome to any other suggestions that would encourage the most peaceful of protests as to not threaten or shame potential patrons of the park.

Signs are welcome, but please make sure they are appropriate for all ages.
