DxE Toronto – Meetup @ Veg Food Fest

ITINERARY:

1pm – Meet-up at Ann Tindal Park (bandshell in the middle of the fest)

Look out for our ‘slow moving clump’ wearing red DxE shirts. We’ll be hanging out, grabbing food, and enjoying the activities the fest has to offer.

3pm – Group Discussion: Veganism and Animal Liberation

Join us for a discussion about veganism as a framing for animal rights! All are welcome – this discussion will be facilitated by Aidan Cook from DxE Boulder, and will look at how veganism and animal rights relate to one another.

LOCATION: Simcoe WaveDeck

6pm – Disruption

Let’s use our numbers on this day to take action and disrupt a nearby location! Details will be shared at the briefing for the disruption – all you need to know is where & when to meet us, and that this is a low-risk, beginner-friendly action.
After the disruption, we will still have time to return to Veg Fest and enjoy it for a little longer!
