Farm Day Protest

The Niagara Federations of Agriculture have announced their first FARM DAY in Niagara.

“Niagara Farm Day organizers hope this event will become an annual opportunity for families to spend time learning about Niagara agriculture and its important contribution to our food supply and the local economy.

Visitors to Niagara Farm Day will be able to visit with a number of primary producers who will each have a display featuring the primary focus of their farm. This will include dairy, bees, horse, beef, grains & oilseeds, flowers and more. Plans are also under way to allow visitors to experience a virtual reality tour of a farm with technology supplied by Farm & Food Care.”

We don’t want this to be an annual event so let’s go down there in huge numbers. The only way to make this uncomfortable for them is to be there all day. You are more than welcome to stay the whole day but for those who can’t please pick a time slot that works for you to attend. This way we can be sure someone is there the entire time.

Time slots:
9:30-12pm (registration begins at 9:30am)
12-2pm
2-4pm

Event is being held at the West Niagara Agricultural Centre – so we will be out at the two entrances. There is parking on the side of the road.

Please bring a sign!
Lots of children will be attending so this is a great way to open their eyes to the truth.

Event is happening rain or shine so please dress for the weather.
