Marineland Closing Day Demo

COME JOIN US this closing day 2017!!
We will be there again to end the season off with a bang ! Lets keep the momentum and pressure going !

? ALL Attendees please read : 

In the past, our group, specifically a certain individual, worked hard to build and maintain a great relationship with the Niagara Regional Police Dept., this has allowed the demonstrations to run smoothly, legally, and safely throughout the years. It would be devastating to our demonstrations if this relationship was tarnished out of recklessness. So we ask you to please respect the officers and any of their directions, to keep off the road, and to adhere to the boundaries set in place by Niagara Police and MarineLand.

IMPORTANT NOTICE/REMINDER:

Profanity, racism, inappropriate language/signs, targeted insults on the patrons/employees, and any other kind of oppressive/violent comments and actions are not welcomed, and will not be tolerated.

Shouting rude, direct insults at people have no positive impact, and tarnishes our groups image as a whole. Being a kid-friendly event, there are young children that join us, and this is certainly not a positive image let alone example to be portraying in front of them.
I do understand a lot of people were new to the last event and may have been unaware of our guidelines pertaining to this.

We just please ask everyone to respect this. Those who have to be reminded more than once may be asked to leave.

* NO PETS PLEASE – we do ask and recommend that you leave your animal companions in the comfort of your home. It is a safety hazard (considering we are on the side of the road with oncoming traffic), plus there are ticks everywhere.

* PARKING : (see map) – if you head down Burning Springs Hill off of Portage Rd, then take a left at the bottom, on Dufferin Isle Rd, you will find a ton of parking down there by the water.

* Air Horns are NOT allowed ! However you can get plastic cheer cones at Party City and party supply stores alike. As for signs, we encourage people to make their own, but also have extra if needed.

* Carpooling/Rideshare: There are tons of people who come from all over, so feel free to post on the page asking if anyone is also leaving from the same location as you or close by.

* Booths will most likely be set up, where you are free to make donations to help out the legal funds of MarineLand whistleblowers, find information and ask questions, purchase bracelets, pick up extra signs etc.
