Nation Rising Speaker Series with David Pereira

Join us on Saturday, August 21, for another Speaker Series! David Pereira will be speaking about his experience with the Canadian Food Inspection Agency and why animal agriculture subsidies are wrong.

David Pereira spent 15 years working for the Canadian Food Inspection Agency. After witnessing so many horrible situations and learning that he did not have to be a part of what was happening to cows, chickens, pigs or fish he became vegan for the animals.

David dedicates the majority of his time sharing his story in the hopes that he may inspire others to follow their intuition, go vegan, and become activists. He is looking to become a full time activist through patronage and content creation.

As an Animal Rights activist, he works on a number of different campaigns, outreach, demos and assisting others in hopes that they will gain confidence to do the same. He also creates content on his small YouTube channel and will be in an upcoming documentary “They Call Us Criminals”.

He is seeking to gain rights for non-humans and will not stop until this is done.
