New Year, Still Here: Protest at Ripley’s Aquarium!

January 12, 2018 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Don’t expect any New Year’s resolutions from Ripley’s. They plan on staying the same exploitative prison for all marine life held captive there. It’s Jazz night again. Let’s help bring about change and hope for the 20,000 imprisoned sea and freshwater individuals with our voices, signs, chalktivism, leaflets, and overall presence to spread awareness and wake up all those supporting captivity!

All aquatic beings are sound sensitive creatures, and the music that plays during these events adds to their suffering. Just because we can’t recognize it, doesn’t mean they’re not suffering.

Please help us to educate the public and be a voice for the voiceless. If you have ANY mobile musical instruments or soundmaking objects you’d like to bring; like whistles, foghorns, drums, tambourines, megaphones, synthisizers, symbols etc – please feel free to bring them along.

As always, signs will be provided, but you’re welcome to bring your own.

See you there!
