Open Rescue: The Play

Toronto Fringe Festival and 3D Theatre present:

Performance Dates: July 7th – 15th, 2017.

The 2017 Toronto Fringe Festival will premiere, “Open Rescue” – The Play, written and directed by Davis Mirza, which highlights the dramatic rescues of animals from university laboratories by three courageous individuals (played by Cora Matheson, Christina Sousa, Ethan Ryckman) and the generative effect each rescue has had on their lives the rescued animals. The scripts were theatrically informed from real-life interview transcripts (also known as Research – Informed Theatre) that Davis Mirza conducted for his Master’s thesis on the burgeoning Open Rescue movement.
