Stop Channers / Canada Goose Fur Cruelty
Join us for National Anti-Fur Day where people from across the country are joining up to speak out against the cruelty of the Canadian Fur Trade.

KOALA will be holding an anti-fur / anti-canada goose demonstration outside Channers Clothiers (95 King St. S. Uptown Waterloo) from 4pm to 6pm on Friday February 10th. Signs will be provided. Dress warm. Parking is available behind Channers in the shopping plaza – free for 2 hours.
Canada Goose Jackets are made with coyote fur trim and Goose feathers. Killing animals for a decoration on clothing is cruel beyond words and we want you to join us in speaking up for the creatures Canada Goose Inc. and Channers vicitimize and profit from every year! 2/3rds of animals caught in the same leg hold traps that target coyotes are discarded as “trash animals” – they could be endangered species or your family dog!
We also encourage people to carpool to the Anti-Fur protest at the only other Channers location in London the next day (Feb 11) with the Fanshawe Vegan Assosication:
