The Second Annual All Day and Candlelight Vigil
The holidays are a time when we all reflect on peace, love and family. What a perfect time to come together to bear witness of those whose lives are never at peace and who rarely get to feel love or family.
Waterloo Wellington Animal Save and The Save Movement invite you to join us for our second Annual Candlelight Vigil (All-Day vigil) and Holiday dinner.
The vigil begins in Guelph at 11 am to 3pm at Cargill Meat Solutions slaughterhouse -144 Dunlop Dr, Guelph . Cargill kills 1500 cows daily and is the only large-scale halal facility in Canada.
The vigil resumes at 3:30 pm in Breslau (Kitchener) at Conestoga Meat Packers – 313 Menno St., Woolwich. Conestoga kills 24,000 pigs a week.
Here we will have our candlelight vigil for the pigs killed there and for all animals exploited and killed by humans. We will provide as many candles as possible (battery-operated preferred in windy weather).
The DxE Singers will perform songs and we welcome poetry reading and individual songs if people are interested.
