Toronto Climate Save – Park Cleanup & Vegan Outreach

Come join the Toronto Climate Save team this Friday to do a Green spaces clean-up of Greenwood Park in Toronto,  do   vegan outreach, speeches, support a vegan restaurant & more! 

LOCATION: 150 Greenwood Ave, Toronto, ON M4L 2R1

START TIME : 3pm 

MEETING POINT: Meet us at the Greenwood Dog Park, look for our planet earth flag

SAFETY: For everyone’s safety, please wear a mask or face covering at all times during the event and we suggest you stay home if you feel unwell. ( We will miss you though 🙂

EQUIPMENT : For the mini clean-up we will provide some clear and recycle bags  and gloves and some ” grabbers/ long tongs” to help pick up what we collect but you can bring your own equipment as well since we may have a limited amount

BANNERS /SIGNAGE:

We will be providing banners and signs but you can also bring your own if you like

Note: We encourage everyone to wear purple if possible to go with the theme of Toronto Climate Save

AGENDA :

1- Meet at Greenwood park at 3 pm, quick meet and greet and team huddle

2- Cleanup of park’s green areas will start

3- Stickering, postering, leafleting as we go, including park’s perimeter

4- Finally we will stand across from Jinglepear Deli and do some speeches

5- Finally we will conclude with team photos 

6. Everyone is encouraged to try ordering take-out from Jinglepear to show support for this amazing vegan business
