Wake up World – Toronto / All-Day Vigil for Pigs

#WakeUpWorld is one week of Save Movement vigils around the world encouraging activists to bring non-vegan and/or non-activist friends and family to a local vigil during the week of August 25-31. August 28th is also Leo Tolstoy’s birthday (whose words were inspiration to start the Save Movement) and World Save Day. We encourage everyone to bring a non-vegan, or non-activist friend! Please tag your photos from the vigils with #WakeUpWorld

SCHEDULE:

8:00am – 12:30pm – Vigil for pigs at Fearmans Pork slaughterhouse at Appleby Line and Harvester Road, Burlington.

12:30pm – Lunch served at site.

1:30 – 5:30pm – Vigil continues for pigs.

5:30pm – Dinner served at site.

6:30 – 8pm – Vigil continues for pigs.
