Worldwide Vegan Chalk Bomb
Please join us for this coordinated, worldwide effort to help spread the vegan message! You can do this with friends or by yourself. No matter where you are, you can be part of this movement.
“Chalktivism” is an opportunity for us to reach people in an unexpected and engaging way. The best part (aside from helping animals) is that it’s EASY and FUN.
When we get enough people to do this at the same time, we’ll become newsworthy. Then, we’ll have the opportunity to reach a much bigger audience – potentially in the millions.
Our last event had over 1,600 people sign up. We need your help to make this one even bigger. Together, let’s drop a “Vegan Chalk Bomb” on the world!
The idea is simple:
1. Buy chalk. Target and Wal-Mart have Crayola sidewalk chalk for $5 a box. You can also order through Amazon.
2. Write a positive vegan message in a public space.
3. Post pictures of your message(s) on social media along with the hashtag, #veganchalkchallenge.
To have the most impact, we’re asking everyone to please invite all of your vegan friends and to share this event in your vegan networks (Meetup and Facebook are great for organizing and promoting events).

Of course, you don’t have to wait until October to start. We’ve got a strong movement going already and we encourage everyone to write chalk vegan messages as often as possible!
