DESCRIPTION:We took a little break for the holidays but we’re back for weekly protests (don’t worry Bar Isabel\, we didn’t go away). \nPlease join us next Friday to protest Bar Isabel owned by Grant van Gameren\, part owner of the vegan Rosalinda. We’re glad that he’s a part of a vegan business\, we’re glad that his sister is vegan\, we’re glad that he likes to cook vegan\, but we’re not glad about all of the other animals who he kills including foie gras\, now officially banned in New York. We don’t think that he’s proud which is why his curtains are ONLY closed when we’re there in order to block out the truth but curtains won’t make the truth go away. \nThis is a non violent protest. We have signs\, literature to hand out and a megaphone (thank you Peter)\, we just need you to take a stand against speciesism for the animals. \nNote: Please check the Facebook event page for updates.

DESCRIPTION:Please join us this Saturday in Toronto’s bustling Kensington Market in protest of Bacon Nation. This establishment also has a fleet of food trucks mocking pigs saying “Pork Star” and “Go pig or go home.” They discriminate terribly against pigs\, treating them like they’re a joke. \nThis location is also a really great opportunity for outreach\, the sidewalks are packed.
