SUMMARY:Toronto - National Anti-Fur Day 2018
DESCRIPTION:Please join us at the south entrance of the Eaton Centre\, near Yonge and Queen from 1pm to 3pm for the first part of this protest. \nWe’ve extended this event to 7pm – to accomodate some signs that light up – those that are able to stay past 3pm might want to get some dinner then come back for 5pm – meeting at Nathan Phillips Square. Jenny Henry and Rose Galacz-Weir will be looking after this later portion 🙂 \nWe’ll have posters and postcards to pass out to the public. You’re also welcome to bring your own signs. The amount of fur trim on the streets of Toronto is growing – come and help educate the public as to why animals don’t deserve to be used as a fashion statement. DESCRIPTION:Please join us for this year’s National Anti Fur Day at 4pm to protest outside Rudsak\, whose coats feature Asiatic Raccoon Dog fur – so utterly disgraceful.\n\n\n \n\n\nAt 4:30pm we’ll also be bringing the anti-fur message to the reporters at CP24 and CTV\, whose ofices are a few steps away\, and whose reporters routinely wear Canada Goose coats. \n\n\n \n\n\nAfterwards\, we’ll walk a little west along Queen Street join protestors at 5:30pm outside Due West for an Earthlings event.\n\n\n \n\n\nLet’s show Toronto the truth about fur and fur trim – unethical\, unnecessary and inhumane. \n\n\n \n\n\nWe’ll have signs and postcards for people to carry and hand out\, but also welcome home-made signs. \n\n\n \n\n\nhttp://animalrightstoronto.com/\n\n\nhttps://www.facebook.com/DXEToronto/\n\n\nhttps://www.facebook.com/NationalAntiFurDay/
