Toronto Salughterhouses Exposed

Join the Save Outreach Squad to Expose Toronto’s Slaughterhouses during the Save Movements’s All Day Vigil this coming Monday! There will be hundreds of people bearing witness at the slaughterhouses on this day, yet thousands of commuters will pass, just around the corner, completely unaware of the horrors taking place so close to them. Our goal is to allow them to ‘bear witness’ with us, through images and literature and forever associate this neighbourhood with suffering and injustice.

Many of you have asked why there hasn’t been a Saturday version of Toronto Slaughterhouse Exposed for a couple of months…it is because so many things are happening in the GTA on weekends these days that need our support. For instance, there are ribfests happenening every weekend throughout the GTA, and SOS encourages everyone to please do at least one shift at one of these horrific events. http://www.todocanada.ca/ribfests-greater-toronto-area/amp/Toronto/

Slaughterhouses Exposed will also represent at this weekend’s March to Close all Slaughterhouses. We have adapted our signs to expose St. Helen’s, Ryding-Regency, and Maple Leaf to the thousands of onlookers during the march! We will return to our monthly Saturday outreach events in the Fall:)
