Calling All Vegans live taping!
Calling all vegans! Please join us at a live taping of — you guessed it! — “Calling All Vegans”, co-hosted by Hugh Reilly and Sue Spahr…a weekly Internet show aimed at raising awareness about animal issues as well as supporting, celebrating, and getting to know the people who run vegan businesses, perform animal rescue and operate sanctuaries, grassroots activist groups effecting change, etc. Individuals who are thought-provoking, inspirational, entertaining…each of them making a positive social impact, living and working ethically and in alignment with their moral compass.
You can also watch the live stream commencing at 1:00 EST on ThatChannel.com (but no free popcorn if you do it that way!).
One of our objectives is to help vegans meet with success in doing what they love to do…where the dollars we spend not only don’t harm, but actually help animals and are planet-friendly. We aim to curate a wide variety of such guests and work towards making the world a better place for everyone.
If you have show ideas, guest suggestions, or would like to promote your own vegan venture, please contact me. Let’s use this vehicle to advance the animal rights movement and bolster the quickly-growing vegan community!

Coming up this Monday, June 18th:
Alec Bosse with his regular weekly feature highlighting vegans and vegan-ly happenings in the news.
At the risk of repeating myself, Chef Doug McNish will be in the studio! *vegan fan-girl and fan-boy fainting ensues* Doug is kindly taking time out of his very busy schedule to chat with us. Looking forward to hearing about his newest venture, Mythology Diner (which I plan to visit this Sunday for brunch…the only bad thing about it is deciding which culinary delight to choose off the menu) and his efforts to veganize the city of Toronto.
Barbi Lazarus of Toronto Vegetarian Association will be stopping by to update us on the MANY upcoming events of the TVA, including Vegan Rock! X. I wonder if I can persuade her to dress up in the carrot costume?
Aaaand Darlene Levecque will be Skyped in and on the big screen talking about the vibrant Ottawa animal rights scene and the epic Nation Rising rally taking place July 14th on Parliament Hill in The Twa/Ottawa (hmmm, doesn’t work as well as The Shwa/Oshawa).
Note: Please check the Facebook event page for updates.
