After the March – Stop Fur Purchases in Toronto

Sat. Nov. 12, 4:00-6:00 pm: After the march, join an outreach team and head to Dundas Square with tablets/iPads, signs, and leaflets to engage the public and convince them not to buy fur OR join a DxE Disruption Team led by Mat Winton for one or more in-store disruptions in the area followed by joining up with the outreach teams at Dundas Square.

Sun. Nov. 13, 1:00-3:00 pm: Join SOS outreach teams at Sporting Life, Due West, Nobis, and Winners to Stop Fur Purchases in Toronto!

After the March Against the Fur Trade on Novemeber 12, activists are encouraged to head into Dundas Square and to the stores to challenge the fur industry! This past weekend, activists reached hundreds of prospective fur buyers as well as some fur wearers, outside 4 stores, sharing the truth about the industry. The overall response was very positive with many people saying they would never buy fur and that they would tell their friends to not buy fur. One woman actually removed the fur trim from her coat once she learned the truth! Best of all, one of the retailers complained that we were taking away their business!
