New Year Anti-Fur/Down Protest at Due West

WHERE: Due West, 431 Queen St West
WHEN: Every weekend (except Christmas Eve) until March 25, 12-3pm

Join us for a weekly anti-fur/down protest in front of Due West, retailer of cruel Canada Goose and Moose Knuckles. We’ll be reaching out to people with posters, tablets and leaflets, and approaching fur/down-wearers

The campaign’s goals are to deter the buying and wearing of fur and down, both by educating people and by appropriately challenging those who dismiss our appeals.

Signs and leaflets will be provided, but please bring your own if you’re able, and please bring a tablet or laptop with footage from trapping and fur and down farms if you can.

Activists in New York are mounting a powerful protest campaign outside Canada Goose — so let’s mobilize in Toronto too, for the coyotes, geese, ducks, raccoon dogs, foxes, rabbits, mink and other hundreds of millions of animals tortured and murdered by the fur and down industries. Animal liberation now!
