Rally to Repeal Ford Govt. Ag-Gag Law Bill 156

Join us at 11AM on the opening day of the Ontario Legislative Assembly for a rally and demonstration calling for Ford government’s ag-gag law Bill 156 to be repealed.

Bill 156 is an ag-gag law that criminalizes whistleblowers and activists who expose violence against animals on farms, slaughterhouses, and transport trucks.
It’s time to scrap Bill 156 and introduce a Regan Bill of Animal Rights that recognizes the personhood of non-human animals, ensures the right to demonstrate, including holding peaceful vigils and bearing witness, protects whistleblowers, defunds animal agriculture and provides subsidies for plant-based food manufacturing.
