Sanctuary Volunteer Day

Wishing Well Sanctuary has many volunteer days per month. DxE Toronto will be partnering with Wishing Well on this date to promote it by creating an event page for our community. Use the Facebook event page to see who may be going and to offer / ask for rides. 

There is no registration required for the work day. If you’d like to attend, click “Going” to ensure you get any updates. 

Please keep in mind that this is a work day, and while there will be time to visit with the animals if they are in the mood, this is also their home and we are going to help with whatever they/their caregivers need. Please come prepared to work.

WHAT TO BRING- Bring a vegan lunch, a reusable water bottle and clothes & shoes that you don’t mind getting dirty—Wishing Well supplies the pitch forks, gloves and tools. The work is mainly outdoors, so check the weather forecast for Bradford Ontario, and wear rugged shoes. This work date is rain or shine although we do not work in thunder. If thunder starts, unfortunately we will be forced to cancel the work day. Dress for the weather and consider including rubber boots, a hat, gloves, sunglasses (eye protection), sunscreen, and insect repellant to your “work day kit” —you may want a bug net for your head.

No open toed shoes please!
